LEGO 2014 / Promotional / Toys R Us Sets

The LEGO Toys R Us theme sets were produced in collaboration with Toys R Us and were usually exclusive to their stores. Over the years, various exclusive sets or promotions were made available only through Toys R Us, often aligning with special events, holidays, or movie releases. These exclusive sets covered a range of LEGO themes and were sought after by collectors and fans due to their limited availability. It's worth noting that while certain sets started as Toys R Us exclusives, some eventually became available through other retailers or directly from LEGO.

2014 LEGO Sets

2014 was a very important year for LEGO. With the release of The LEGO Movie at the beginning of the year, LEGO was introduced to a whole new generation and population of LEGO lovers, collectors and investors. In addition to the movie, LEGO celebrated the 15th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars and even more important was the decision to continue the Ninjago theme which was originally slated to be discontinued. 2014 also gave collectors the minifigure-scale Minecraft theme based off the widely popular game. New themes that year included Juniors, The LEGO Movie, Mixels, The Simpsons, Ultra Agents, Fusion and Disney Princess. In addition, we did see a number of discontinued themes such as Galaxy Squad, Lone Ranger and The Lord of The Rings.
