1980 LEGO Sets
In 1980, LEGO introduced the LEGO Train theme, building upon previous train sets but now incorporating 12-volt systems for electrification. The year also marked the debut of the LEGO Classic Space theme, adding a new dimension to LEGO's portfolio with sets that focused on futuristic and extraterrestrial exploration.
