Set 1270 5 Cyclists / Motorcyclists was a HO scaled set released in 1956. It was only released in Denmark, Norway and Sweden from 1956 to 1962. It was packaged in a closed card box. They were a person riding a motorcycle, a motor scooter, a motorcycle with side car, and a bicycle. The spare parts packs with these cyclists were 1270 in Denmark and Sweden.

We have not seen set 1270-1 currently for sale online or in the hundreds of retail stores in good/new condition in over 2,570 days. “There were 5 items, although only 4 different models (1 duplicate) to this set. These were hand painted, and then with a dab of glue, glued to a card and inserted into the box so that they don't bang into each other. So when people who find these in an old LEGO lot, they... More are always puzzled why there is glue or paper stuck to the bottom... and more often than not, even new examples get sold as used because they think they've been used or damaged.”

About System i Leg HO 1:87 Vehicles

The LEGO HO 1:87 Vehicles subtheme, also referred to as LEGO small vehicles where plastic sets released in the 1950's and 1960's to compliment LEGO sets which could be used to build houses, gas stations, garages, shops and more. These vehicles sets remailed in production for almost ten years until they were replaced by LEGOLAND vehicles in the early 1970s. LEGO made the these small 1:87 scale vehicles until around 1969.

HO 1:87 Vehicles consists of 25 sets that ran from 1955 to 1958. As of today, 1261-2 1:87 VW Beetle is the most valuable HO 1:87 Vehicles set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $1,383.
