The Fairground subtheme is part of the LEGO Icons (formerly LEGO Creator Expert) theme and represents a number of sets that incorporate elemets of fairs and amusements rides including roller costers, carousels, ferris wheels and more.
2018 LEGO Sets
2018 celebrated the brick’s 60th anniversary and the minifigure’s 40th. The Wizarding World returned after a long hiatus, spanning Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts. New themes included Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Unikitty!, The Powerpuff Girls, and the first wave of Overwatch, while Star Wars covered Solo-era releases. Toys-to-life title LEGO Dimensions had wrapped, and Nexo Knights ended around this time.
