LEGO 2014 / Star Wars Sets

In 2014 LEGO released 45 Star Wars sets across 15 subthemes. The largest Star Wars set from 2014 was 75059 Sandcrawler with a piece count of 3296 and a retail price of $299.99. The current estimated value of all these Star Wars sets from this year is about $10,559.03 which represents a 597.9% growth.

The LEGO Star Wars theme which was licensed and released in 1999 is based on concepts from the Star Wars franchise of films, comic books, video games, cartoon series, and other sources. The theme currently covers all main films, the anthology films, animated movie and TV series as well as the extended universe.

2014 LEGO Sets

2014 was a very important year for LEGO. With the release of The LEGO Movie at the beginning of the year, LEGO was introduced to a whole new generation and population of LEGO lovers, collectors and investors. In addition to the movie, LEGO celebrated the 15th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars and even more important was the decision to continue the Ninjago theme which was originally slated to be discontinued. 2014 also gave collectors the minifigure-scale Minecraft theme based off the widely popular game.
