In 2012 LEGO released 14 DC Comics Super Heroes sets across 4 subthemes. The largest DC Comics Super Heroes set from 2012 was 6860 The Batcave with a piece count of 690 and a retail price of $69.99. The current estimated value of all these DC Comics Super Heroes sets from this year is about $3,093.29 which represents a 1097.3% growth.

LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes theme was part of the LEGO Super Heroes introduced in 2011 which featured both DC Comics and Marvel Comics with DC Comics sets launching first including nine sets in the first wave. Prior to the first wave of sets, LEGO had given away different minifigure promotional sets various Comic Con events.
