Dino Attack was a LEGO theme released in 2005 and features mutant dinosaurs fighting against futuristic vehicles. The Dino theme consisted of 5 sets that featured different dinosaurs and vehicles and was the third LEGO theme related to dinosaurs. Dino Attack was replaced by Dino 2010 in Europe that has sets that are slightly different from the Dino Attack counterparts and takes place after Dino Attack.
2005 LEGO Sets
2005 shaped up to be a significant year for LEGO collections. Starting with the fact that LEGO System celebrated its 50th anniversary, we also saw a LEGO set designers change their techniques in set designing. 2006 marked the year that the skin color of the Star Wars minifigures changed from yellow to light nougat which also continued to various other future licensed themes. While this was a simple change, the value of sets saw high growth. 2006 introduced the LEGO City theme which replaced the Town theme, as well as Tiny Turbos under the Racers theme. However, in 2006 LEGO did discontinue Alpha Team and Baby.
