LEGO Slizer, which was also known as Throwbots in the US and Canada, was a subtheme of TECHNIC that launched in 1999 and replaced by Robo Riders in 2000. The Slizer sets came with two discs that can be thrown using a special flinger arm.
Slizer consists of 14 sets that ran from 1999 to 2000. As of today,
8502 Turbo is the most valuable Slizer set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $150.
Summary
Technic Slizer Granite set 8506 was released in February 1999, retailing for $6, but has since been retired. New, unopened Granite sets are valued at $40, while used sets can be found for $8 in good condition.
