Y-wing Starfighter Reviews
Is this LEGO set a good investment?
“While Y-wing Starfighter has been only slightly overperforming the average yearly growth of many sets Star Wars sets, with an average annual growth rate of 11%, this set is strong investment for many LEGO collectors.”

“Definitely a solid set. The build itself looks great and is very accurate. Like 70612, the box art makes the front section look oversized, but the proportions in real life (and on the back) are better. The playability works well. I think there isn't actually a whole lot but... More I find the amount and quality appropriate for the size of this set.”

“On top of the impressive build and fun minifigs to add to your collection, the play features are enjoyable. This set has some nice parts, but if you keep it together it will also look great on display. It was a set I was eying, but had not committed to obtaining, but now,... More having it in hand, it is very impressive and holds its own against other Star Wars ships.”

The Brothers Brick
“This is a stellar Y-wing — easily the best redesigned version released since the rather awful original packaged with Darth Vader's TIE Advanced in 1999, and it might even rise to my favorite LEGO Star Wars set from Rogue One so far. With excellent details, a really fun bomb... More bay play feature, solid minifigure selection (excluding the stormtrooper), and nearly 700 pieces for only $60, I can't recommend this set highly enough.”
