“This is a decent set. If it was year three or four of Batman, I'd probably knock it down a rank or two, but for February 2012, this is a solid set to buy. But, it's a set that isn't really applicable to MOCs or expanded builds, so it seems to be suited to Bat-Fans.”

“There's a long legacy of superior Batmobile designs that this set is going up against: Nolan's Tumbler, Batman: The Animated Series' art deco inspired version (my personal all time favorite), Burton's Batmobile, just to name a few. And I think the bad flak the set has gotten... More based on the pictures is because of a case of tunnel vision: people are focusing on just the Batmobile and the price and immediately write it off.”

About DC Comics Super Heroes Batman

This was the second LEGO Batman theme, relaunched in 2012 as part of the LEGO DC Universe Superheroes line, a subtheme of the LEGO Super Heroes. The first Batman theme was introduced in 2006 under license from DC Comics. The subtheme focuses on Batman but also include elements from other Batman universes.

Batman currently consists of 44 sets that as of now has run from 2012 to 2023. As of today, 10937 Batman Arkham Asylum Breakout is the most valuable Batman set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $195.
