Porsche 911 GT3 RS Reviews
Is this LEGO set a good investment?
“Over that last few years Porsche 911 GT3 RS has been a particularly good investment for Technic collectors with an annualized growth of upwards of 15.0% per year. However, there is market indication that the set will experience a slight annual growth decrease in the coming years, but this should be only by a few percentage points at most. When compared to the vast majority of set in the Technic theme, this set is still an excellent investment for collectors.”

“The detail on this Porsche replica is stunning. While LEGO builders can play with their finished Porsche as indicated by the amazing real-life functions like the steering wheel, turning tires, and the suspension mechanics, it's intended for display. This is a very large set... More and will take quite a bit of time to build but that's the intention with this set, which is for ages 16 and up.”

The Brothers Brick
“This set has raised the bar not just for LEGO Technic models, but for LEGO models as a whole. The presentation is superb, making every step of the process actually feel like you're handling a premium product, and the end price of $299 actually feels like a steal. This is a... More model you'll want to display on your solid oak desk while you glance out of your corner office from the top story; if you don't have an oak desk or a corner office, you just may feel as though you did after building this.”
New Elementary
“It is a rather extraordinary set that is a true marvel in the technical field and utterly pleasing to put together; a lengthy build with a few exciting new building techniques. Most of the fun is in the first half, when assembling the gearboxes and paddle shifting/steering... More unit. Placing the overlay to complete the chassis is very rewarding. The completed car is extremely big; bigger than the box it comes in!”

About Technic
TECHNIC is one of The LEGO Company's main lines based on creating detailed model machines and mechanical toys with specialized beams, axles, gears and connectors and primarily designed for older children and adults. The theme was first introduced as the Expert Builder series in 1977, but was officially renamed as TECHNIC in 1984. TECHNIC is still an active theme, and is one of the longest running themes in LEGO history. While most TECHNIC sets are vehicles that use pieces to mimic real vehicles, such as engine pieces, suspension, pneumatic, and transmission pieces, the TECHNIC parts have been used by various other System themes as well as LEGO Mindstorms.
