“The final race truck looks ok, it is very dependent on stickers for it's look though. It works just fine, surprisingly it is not too front heavy so doesn't tip anywhere near as much as I was expecting. Honestly the B model race car (sort of a muscle car style) is a more... More visually appealing model to me, although the rear end body work is a little flimsy due to a lack of parts to build with. Aside from steering and an engine, the only other functions on both A and B model are doors and boot that open by hand, and the race truck cab tips forwards by hand too - not exactly exciting features with cool mechanisms.”

About Technic
TECHNIC is one of The LEGO Company's main lines based on creating detailed model machines and mechanical toys with specialized beams, axles, gears and connectors and primarily designed for older children and adults. The theme was first introduced as the Expert Builder series in 1977, but was officially renamed as TECHNIC in 1984. TECHNIC is still an active theme, and is one of the longest running themes in LEGO history. While most TECHNIC sets are vehicles that use pieces to mimic real vehicles, such as engine pieces, suspension, pneumatic, and transmission pieces, the TECHNIC parts have been used by various other System themes as well as LEGO Mindstorms.

Technic Race Truck set 42041 was released in January 2015, retailing for $70, but has since been retired. New, unopened Race Truck sets are valued at $111, while used sets can be found for $71 in good condition.
