LEGO 2018 / Creator Sets

In 2018 LEGO released 17 Creator sets across 2 subthemes. The largest Creator set from 2018 was 31084 Pirate Roller Coaster with a piece count of 923 and a retail price of $89.99. The current estimated value of all these Creator sets from this year is about $664.41 which represents a 137.3% growth.

The LEGO Creator theme consists of a variety of subthemes that revolve around sets that focus on buildings, creatures, vehicles, robots and recently more specialized sets such as botanical and even the Chinese New Year. Many of these sets have fallen under the 3-in-1 label which include instructions in a single set to provide multiple alternative models. Originally created in 2001 with a focus on larger bucket sets, the LEGO Creator theme has expanded outside just bricks to later include minifigures.

2018 LEGO Sets

In 2018, The LEGO Company celebrated the 60th anniversary of the brick and introduced a number of sets to commemorate this. This year also so a number of new and revisited themes including the return of Harry Potter sets after 6 years. New themes such as Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, The Powerpuff Girls, Unikitty! and Solo: A Star Wars Story was added to LEGO Star Wars. We also so the discontinuation of LEGO Dimensions and Nexo Knights.
