“All-in-all, this is a nice little model. It's not going to blow your mind, but you can pop one of your spare Emmet figs in and drive it around on your desk when you're bored. It captures what you see in the movie and would be great for anyone making a diorama. The alternate... More flying car model is rather weak though and you can probably skip it. If you can get your hands on the set or the pieces to build it - do it!”

“Today at Toys R Us stores, they were holding a special The LEGO Movie building event. Kids were able to build and take home Emmet’s car which can also be changed into a flying car. The whole “set” consists of 42 pieces which 40 are used for the regular car and 34 for the... More flying version. I prefer the regular car because the other feels incomplete but I didn’t expect too much given the pieces used.”

About The LEGO Movie Promotional

The LEGO Movie theme which was based on the movie LEGO: The Motion Picture was released in 2014. Sets were based on several themes, from Bricksburg to The Old West. From the official LEGO press release: "Building Sets Inspired by pivotal scenes in the film and starring key LEGO minifigure characters, a collection of 17 LEGO building sets will deliver all of the THE LEGO MOVIE action to the playroom. Fans will delight in highly detailed and functional vehicles and structures that reflect the creative versatility of the movie’s many LEGO themed backdrops, such as City, Wild West, and Space."

Promotional was introduced in 2014 and currently consists of 9 sets. As of today, The LEGO Movie Press Kit is the most valuable Promotional set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $561.
