Power Functions is a TECHNIC electric building system that consists of remote control units, power units, motors, lights and receivers that can be connected by cables with brick-shaped connectors. The core battery boxes deliver the power to different types of motors to make things move, light, remote control and even connection to a computer. With this train motor you can motorize your LEGO trains. You can use this motor with our older 9V battery boxes (Technic or RC) or by simply adding the Power Function extension cable #8886, you can build it into your engine together with other Power Functions parts (sold separately) to create a train that speeds down the tracks at your command.
