LEGO 800 Gears, Motor and Bricks was a 120 piece Universal Building Set set released in 1970. It was also just called "Gear Set". It included gears, a 4.5V blue motor and a 4.5V Battery Box as well as a number of bricks.
Gears, Motor and Bricks is an extremely old and very rare LEGO set. We have not seen set 800-1 currently for sale online or in the hundreds of retail stores in good/new condition in over 2,516 days. Because of the rarity of this hard to find set the current estimated value of $134.42 might actually be much lower than the true value, assuming this set can be found for sale.Because Gears, Motor and Bricks is a very old set from 1970, finding it in a sealed and good condition might be difficult thus making the true value even that much higher.

About Universal Building Set Gears

LEGO's Universal Building Sets theme was released as early as 1966 but it was not until 1973 that the Basic LEGO sets became known as Universal Building Sets. These sets were produced in two set version numbers, the first was for sets that were sold in the UK, Europe, Canada and Australia. The other version numbers, but for the same exact set with the same box artwork was released in the United States. Most, but not all sets between 1973 and 1981 were sold in both regions.

Gears consists of 8 sets that ran from 1970 to 1974. As of today, 811-2 Gear Set is the most valuable Gears set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $548.
