725-3 Town Plan was a 711 piece Samsonite set released in 1961. Although it states the part count was 711 pieces, over the course of production the piece count and inventory changed. Typically the parts included trees and bushes, an Esso signpost, light posts, garage assembly, grey 10x20 plates, 1 set of petrol pumps, 2 HO scale VWs, and the classic trio of red HO service vehicles. The basic pieces included in this set were the older cellulose acetate plastic before LEGO switched to ABS. Samsonite imported specialty pieces such as HO cars or painted trees from LEGO Denmark and were depended on LEGO inventory and discontinuation.

The current value for a new and sealed Town Plan is estimated at $2,187 with an average yearly gain of about 7%.
