“The Galactic Chief is a pretty cool nostalgic set. It also has some good swooshability. I remember flying it around as a kid and chasing other LEGO cars that I made. Although this was the only Space Police II set I have, it was one of my favorites.”

“The set is a small set, so it's hard to expect too much. However, given that the set is all about a police chief, you'd expect either some sort of weapon or some sort of way to transport prisoners. Since this set has neither, that cuts into the bottom line. Furthermore, the... More set itself doesn't lend itself to much in the way of other builds. Finally, the only moving piece is the windshield - and the poor police chief doesn't even get any sort of steering wheel or other instrument panel.”

About Space

Space Police 2 (or Space Police II) was a LEGO Space subtheme released in 1992 that followed the original Space Police subtheme. The story line was based on The Space Police II officers who protected M-Tron and Ice Planet 2002 from the Blacktron Future Generation and enforced laws established by the Galactic Council. They always protected the innocent in interplanetary disputes.

Space Police 2 consists of 8 sets that ran from 1992 to 1998. As of today, 6984 Galactic Mediator is the most valuable Space Police 2 set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $932.
