666 1:87 Mercedes Sport was a Classic HO 1:87 scale vehicle set released in 1964 and was in production until 1967 and was based on the Mercedes 190SL. It was only released in Continental Europe and was packaged in an open paper cardboard presentation box. The Mercedes Sport vehicle came in a variety of colors that included either a white or red interior. The colors consisted of blue, black, dark gray, light gray, red and white.

1:87 Mercedes Sport is an extremely old and very rare LEGO set. We have not seen set 666-1 currently for sale online or in the hundreds of retail stores in good/new condition in over 896 days. Because of the rarity of this hard to find set the current estimated value of $518.36 might actually be much lower than the true value, assuming this set can be found for sale.Because 1:87 Mercedes Sport is a very old set from 1964, finding it in a sealed and good condition might be difficult thus making the true value even that much higher.

The LEGO HO 1:87 Vehicles subtheme, also referred to as LEGO small vehicles where plastic sets released in the 1950's and 1960's to compliment LEGO sets which could be used to build houses, gas stations, garages, shops and more. These vehicles sets remailed in production for almost ten years until they were replaced by LEGOLAND vehicles in the early 1970s. LEGO made the these small 1:87 scale vehicles until around 1969.

HO 1:87 Vehicles consists of 37 sets that ran from 1961 to 1966. As of today, 649-2 1:87 Mercedes Shell Tanker is the most valuable HO 1:87 Vehicles set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $2,849.
