LEGO H.C. Andersen's Clumsy Hans was a very exclusive set, only a limited amount were made. The set was given to participants in the LEGO Inside Tour in 2015 in which only 80 sets were made. In the Inside Tour sets, the boxes were number 1-80 in handwriting. It was also given to only 320 LEGOLAND Florida Ambassador pass holders, in 2015. There are two exclusive printed pieces in this set, one is a tile printed "1 MIIL" and the other tile is printed with "LEGO Inside Tour 2015".

“he instruction booklet features a kind of paper which feels different then the normal booklet. The first pages feature the whole fairy tale of Clumsy Hans, which is a quite funny story. Hans is riding a goat (called Billy) and holding a dead crow and a wooden shoe, filled... More with mud. Hans gets a classic Lego yellow brick build head, which is a nice touch. Unlike some other Inside Tour sets this is a true display model, nothing else.”

“It was produced and hand numbered in 4 batches of 80. Each of these has a different photograph on the back of the sleeve, meaning there are 4 different versions in total. In each batch of 80, 1 was reserved for the Lego vault, 30 were given to participants of the Inside Lego... More Tour and the rest were distributed amongst employees involved with the tour.”

“This set has been produced (and numbered) in 4 batches of 80. Each batch features a different photograph on the back of the printed sleeve of the box featuring the ~30 participants of that tour (there are four tours each year). Therefore, there do exist four different copies... More of each "1/80, 2/80, 3/80..." with a total of 320 copies of this set produced (120 given out on the tours). This may be relevant for sellers and to avoid future confusion if multiples of the same 'uniquely numbered' sets are listed.”

About Exclusive LEGO Inside Tour Exclusive

The LEGO Inside Tour in Billund, Denmark is an annual exclusive event that is held a few times a year to a very limited number of attendees through a raffle type sign-up process. Lucky attendees of this 2-5 day experience learn how LEGO bricks are produced, meet the designers and take a tour through the LEGO Group’s unique history in Ole Kirk's original house featuring an extraordinary exhibition of LEGO sets and models that date back to 1934. At the end of the tour, each participant receives a LEGO set exclusively produced for the LEGO Inside Tour in cooperation with Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen to take home. These sets are exclusive to the tour only and maintain a considerable value on the secondary markets.

LEGO Inside Tour Exclusive currently consists of 15 sets that as of now has run from 2005 to 2023. As of today, Ole Kirk's House is the most valuable LEGO Inside Tour Exclusive set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $7,341.
