4000000 "Cars" was an exclusive set was given to attendees of the LEGO Inside Tour in 2010. Only 33 sets were given away making it a very rare set. In fact, we have seen the same set change hands multiple times on the secondary market (the sets are numbers 1-33 making it easier to track) but making the number generally available even lower than shown, also making it very hard to have an accurate estimated value. We think the estimated value is even much higher and will only be set by the next available set that hits the market, if another one ever does.

The current value for a new and sealed Cars is estimated around $4,856 today with current average yearly gain of about 30% but will level off in the next year closer to a 11% annual growth.

“From buildings back to cars, the idea behind this set was to represent the evolution of LEGO car design. The white car (likely a Jeep) is a recreation from set 330 designed by Kjeld in 1968 and represents early basic designs. The red car is based on the style of cars Kjeld... More used to design for his own enjoyment. It represents a more refined style, while still using basic bricks and plates. The yellow car represents a modern design style, using curved slopes and various SNOT techniques.”

About Exclusive LEGO Inside Tour Exclusive

The LEGO Inside Tour in Billund, Denmark is an annual exclusive event that is held a few times a year to a very limited number of attendees through a raffle type sign-up process. Lucky attendees of this 2-5 day experience learn how LEGO bricks are produced, meet the designers and take a tour through the LEGO Group’s unique history in Ole Kirk's original house featuring an extraordinary exhibition of LEGO sets and models that date back to 1934. At the end of the tour, each participant receives a LEGO set exclusively produced for the LEGO Inside Tour in cooperation with Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen to take home. These sets are exclusive to the tour only and maintain a considerable value on the secondary markets.

LEGO Inside Tour Exclusive currently consists of 15 sets that as of now has run from 2005 to 2023. As of today, Ole Kirk's House is the most valuable LEGO Inside Tour Exclusive set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $7,341.
