“The game is based on the Ninjago theme, and includes ten microfigures representing major Ninjago characters. Jay, Kai, Cole and Zane must infiltrate their own temple after it has been overrun by skeletons, and locate the four golden weapons in order to defeat the skeleton... More general. The game is cooperative - the players all take the role of ninjas and either win or lose the game as a team. A Sensei Wu microfigure is included which can save the team from defeat once per game, and a rope element can be used to swing a Ninja onto a new space. The game uses both a die to dictate movement, and a brick-built spinner to decide combat.”

As with all the LEGO games, Ninjago: The Board Game includes multiple... More variants, such as adjusting the power of the sensei, adding a memory component, adding or removing steps in the temple to tweak the general's effect.”
