“The Robo Raptor is a medium-sized Roboforce set. It is centered around a main body, slightly larger than its arms. Both of its arms are claws which can be angled up or down. On the back is a tail which can be moved up or down, yet not back and forth. It has a laser at the... More end and is shown on the box to curve near the body like a scorpion's tail.”

Jurrasic Robo — “This set is a strider, but unlike most striders that has gone before, this one doesn't even remotely looks like a strider, thanks to all the extra bricks that has gone into the design. As a consequence, the design is highly polished, with movable hands and tail and a... More rotating raptor head. The colour scheme works for this set, pairing black and grey with neon-yellow. The use of slopes is masterful creating texture on the vehicle. The pilot is placed on the back of the raptor, making it seem like a rider, which is another plus in good design. Overall a very nice set, design wise and aesthetic wise”

“1997's new Space subtheme Robo Force sounded promising. Only two of the four models released in 1997 looked worth taking a chance on so I went for the less expensive of two evils and bought the Robo Raptor. I am impressed with the way this model turned out.”
