This model of the iconic London landmark is quite impressive, standing at over 23 inches (60 cm) tall and containing 4163 pieces. It is a certain that the launch of Big Ben signals the retirement of one of the existing landmark sets because there is limited shelf space, and slots in the product lineup, so naturally something will have to be discontinued to make room for the Big Ben. Big Ben is a Creator Expert set released on June 15, 2016 for VIP members and July 1 as a general release. It was designed by Jamie Berard. A smaller-scaled Architecture model of Big Ben (21013) was released in 2012.

It was retired in November 2018 with a lifespan of 28 months. Today's value for a new/sealed Big Ben is estimated around $381 with a average yearly gain of 4% and is expected to level off closer to 3% soon. On the secondary markets, the typical price range for the set MISB/NISB is between $366 and $419.
